Our last morning in Hobart started early for Joanne who went to fitness by the beach with Jane for 6.15am, with the addition of a sea swim and breakfast of bacon and egg sandwiches as it was the last one before Christmas. Last chance for a coffee and chat with a wander along the beach to the coffee shop too. Joanne is reflecting that it's been so lovely to catch up and see Jane after a few years but yet feel like it was also so normal and everyday.
In the meantime Jon went for a walk up the hill to see the wallabies.
Carsten drove us to the airport, where we found out our flight was delayed an hour. We got to Melbourne, collected our cases and headed to the car hire place where we found out the 7 seater we'd ordered wasn't actually there yet, so we had 2 matching Subarus until later that evening when the Santa Fe was dropped off for us.
Jon collected Peter and Amelia, whilst Toby and Joanne did the Aldi so and we met up at the accommodation in serviced apartments in Williamstown, made dinner and enjoyed chilling with a game of cards against gravity.
