They have recently moved to Penang, an island off the west coast of Malaysia, so we'll be staying there for a few days to see where they live and what they're doing, before heading off for a holiday with just the 5 of us.
Back to Penang, then a few days in Kuala Lumpur before flying back in time for school term to begin.
So far we have learnt that in Malaysia they:
1. Use UK plugs (so no adaptors needed)
2. Have v hot weather all year round (no need for jumpers when it's a min of 28c at night)
3. Eat lots of noodles and rice
4. Have a currency called the Ringitt (there are about 5 Ringitt to a pound)
I'm sure we'll learn much more once we are there.
